Brief history of events. How our school started

We went to the university to study for a degree in childhood education. There, we knew each other. One day, we started talking about what would be our dream school. We talked about the environment of the school, how the students would be, the way to learn, the functions of each person within the center, what ownership the center would have, the number of courses that would be there, the number of students for each classroom... And we find that we all coincide more or less with the same ideas.

We thought about carrying out this project and we had high hopes, but we decided that it was not the time because we did not have the correct formation, we have no experience, we do not know where to start the project, we were very young to take such a big step in our lives and we did not have enough money to finance all the project.

The years passed and in 2014 we started chatting because we met in an education fair. We decided to meet again to know how our lives were going. Talking, the idea of the project appeared again. There we realized that no one carried out the project, so we decided to turn on the idea.

We analyze all the proposals that we had, and we compare with the ones that they arose again. We also try to put into practice some things that we have seen in the schools we visited all over the years.

After that we looked if we could afford the project and, if the four of us collaborated, the project could be possible. Maria told us that we could construct the school in Llivia because there, the number of children has increased a lot and there were no centers for all the demands for places. We studied the proposal and we saw that it was possible so we started to talk with the mayor to give us the building permit, the architects to construct the building that the school would be, the families of Llivia to see if the proposal would have a future.

Finally, in 2016, the nursery school Little Steps  was founded and it opened its doors for all the boys and girls who wanted to study there and for all the teachers who started working in our dream school.
